About this puzzle
Sheet #6 divides the grid into 25 cages averaging 3.2 cells. 2 cages have only one possible set of digits — the natural place to begin.
The largest cage covers 6 cells and adds up to 30; it starts at row 6, column 3.
The most open cage, 25 in 5 cells, still allows 12 different sets of digits — leave it for later.
Where to start
The 24 in 3 cells starting at row 2, column 2 can only be 7 + 8 + 9.
The 17 in 2 cells starting at row 5, column 6 can only be 8 + 9.
Expect to lock digits between cages and lines and to use pairs. Write notes in the big cages early.
