The name
Logika műhely is Hungarian for “logic workshop”. The idea is a place where puzzles are made with care and the tools stay in view. The site itself works in English, Italian, Hungarian and Finnish.
How the puzzles are made
Every grid comes from a generator and has to pass a solver before it is used. The solver works with the same techniques a person would, from the simplest to the most advanced, and the hardest one it needs sets the difficulty. If it cannot finish without guessing, the grid is thrown away. That check also proves that every puzzle has exactly one solution.
For lights, the uniqueness comes from the board itself: we only use sizes on which every board has a single solution.
Numbered sheets and daily puzzles
A numbered sheet is fixed: the number is the seed of the generator, so Kakuro #4, Expert is the same puzzle on every device and will stay that way. Daily puzzles work the same, with the date as the seed.
What we don’t do
There are no adverts, no analytics, no accounts and no third-party scripts. Progress, statistics and settings live in your own browser and nowhere else — see privacy for the details.
