About this puzzle
Sheet #3 divides the grid into 24 cages averaging 3.4 cells. No cage has just one possible set of digits, so the first footholds come from the rule of 45 and from the places where cages meet.
The largest cage covers 6 cells and adds up to 32; it starts at row 1, column 2.
The most open cage, 18 in 4 cells, still allows 11 different sets of digits — leave it for later.
Where to start
Expect to lock digits between cages and lines and to use pairs. Write notes in the big cages early.
