About this puzzle
Sheet #12 divides the grid into 22 cages averaging 3.7 cells. 2 cages have only one possible set of digits — the natural place to begin.
The largest cage covers 6 cells and adds up to 36; it starts at row 1, column 4.
The most open cage, 26 in 5 cells, still allows 11 different sets of digits — leave it for later.
Where to start
The 6 in 3 cells starting at row 2, column 8 can only be 1 + 2 + 3.
The 23 in 3 cells starting at row 5, column 9 can only be 6 + 8 + 9.
Expect to lock digits between cages and lines and to use pairs. Write notes in the big cages early.
