About this puzzle
Sheet #1 divides the grid into 24 cages averaging 3.4 cells. One cage has only one possible set of digits — the natural place to begin.
The largest cage covers 6 cells and adds up to 27; it starts at row 6, column 8.
The most open cage, 22 in 4 cells, still allows 11 different sets of digits — leave it for later.
Where to start
The 16 in 2 cells starting at row 1, column 1 can only be 7 + 9.
Expect to lock digits between cages and lines and to use pairs. Write notes in the big cages early.
