About this puzzle
Sheet #3 divides the grid into 27 cages averaging 3 cells. 2 cages have only one possible set of digits — the natural place to begin.
The largest cage covers 5 cells and adds up to 27; it starts at row 5, column 1.
The most open cage, 20 in 4 cells, still allows 12 different sets of digits — leave it for later.
Where to start
The 30 in 4 cells starting at row 1, column 1 can only be 6 + 7 + 8 + 9.
The 29 in 4 cells starting at row 8, column 7 can only be 5 + 7 + 8 + 9.
At least once you will need the rule of 45: total a row, column or box and subtract the cages that lie inside it.
