About this puzzle
Sheet #10 divides the grid into 25 cages averaging 3.2 cells. 3 cages have only one possible set of digits — the natural place to begin.
The largest cage covers 5 cells and adds up to 30; it starts at row 1, column 1.
The most open cage, 25 in 5 cells, still allows 12 different sets of digits — leave it for later.
Where to start
The 15 in 5 cells starting at row 1, column 3 can only be 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5.
The 17 in 2 cells starting at row 3, column 6 can only be 8 + 9.
At least once you will need the rule of 45: total a row, column or box and subtract the cages that lie inside it.
